European Christian Holiday Week for Deafblind People
“God’s Blessing on Our Paths”
From September 4 – 11, 2018 we are organizing an european Christian holiday week for deafblind/hearing and visually impaired people in Radeberg (Germany).
This invitation is open to deafblind and hearing and visually impaired people with their accompanying person.
The Deaf-Blind-Ministry of the Evangelical Church in Germany has a guesthouse for deafblind/hearing and visually impaired people: House Stork Nest.
The House Stork Nest is a counseling, retreat and training center. It is surrounded by a 20’000 square meter botanical sensory garden for the blind. There is a path system with landmarks making it possible to take shorter or longer walks without assistance. The botanical sensory garden is a “fragrant garden” with some hundred plants, nice seating areas, and other places to experience the garden.
The holiday week will be held in German with English translation. Other languages are welcome if interpreters are available.
The participants ensure that they come with their own accompanying person.
